Originally introduced in A-2361 non-rising stem (NRS) models a couple of years back, Mueller Co. produces R-2361 outside screw & yoke (OS&Y) gate valves with the updated design in compliance with AWWA C515-15 standards. 4”-12” Mueller® R-2361 OS&Y valves now feature a lighter weight body and a UL/FM listing of 350psi working pressure. These fire protection valves have been designed to address the growing demand for increased pressure applications.
Mueller® resilient wedge gate valves feature a forged bronze stem and thrust collar (through 16”) for superior strength, an elastomer-encapsulated ductile iron wedge, and engineered plastic guides to stabilize the wedge and prevent binding. Connection options include: mechanical joint (MJ), flanged (FL), slip-on (SL), radial compression (RAD), and threaded (THD). Styles: NRS, PIV, and OS&Y.
Mueller UL listed and FM approved check valves are gravity operated, swing check design. These check valves are rugged in construction and simple in design. There are polymer guide cap bearings on wedge guides to resist wear and provide easy operation. The valves offer bi-directional flow, and are offered with a 10-year limited warranty.
