After a detailed review, Conbraco Industries of North Carolina, USA, has formally qualified Adanac Valve Specialities Ltd of Suffolk, UK, as an authorized repair and modification facility for Conbraco Apollo® brand ball valves. The two-year agreement took effect 1 February 2006. The Adanac facility in Suffolk performs a wide range of valve repairs, modifications and tests that fully comply with applicable codes, standards and test requirements. Under the agreement, Adanac is authorized to provide such modifications to Apollo® ball valves as heating jackets, pipe pups and trim. Also, the company is authorized to complete cryogenic enhancements to Apollo® Top entry ball valves and conduct preparation and in-house testing of valves specified for low temperature and cryogenic applications to meet relevant Shell and BS 6364 requirements.
