Truflo Rona, part of the Truflo International group of flow control manufacturers, has developed a new generation of trunnion mounted double eccentric ball valves. The new design offers a wide range of possibilities and applications. Its metal-to-metal tugsten carbide coated product is designed for heavy service, such as slurry applications or petrochemical and PTA plants. Graphite seats are also available. The products range from -29°C to +550°C / Class 150 to 1500lbs. The cryogenic version is suitable in LNG applications – including terminals and carriers – and ranges from -196°C to +200°C and Class 150 to 1500lbs. The ball valve offers: low torque – no friction during opening and closing; full bore – no shaft on the flow; double trunnion supported ball for high durability and low torque requirement; and renewable screwed-in seat with double rear seal design.
