New CEO at SAMSON

The Supervisory Board of SAMSON has appointed Dr Andreas Widl as the chairperson of the Executive Board as of 1 April 2015. Dr Widl has been on the Board since 2013; he is responsible for sales, marketing and strategy. Before he joined SAMSON, Dr Widl had assumed leading positions at the Mannesmann Group and GE Capital. At Oerlikon, he restructured several business units and drove the Group’s regional growth as Asia President. Dr Widl served as CEO at Leybold Vacuum for over four years.
