GEA Flow Components presents the new D-tec valve equipped with a hermetically sealing diaphragm against the atmosphere.
GEA sets new benchmarks in terms of flowrate, flexibility and compatibility with the stem diaphragm valves in the new D-tec series. The performance benefits are realised mainly by the integration of the diaphragm into the VARIVENT modular design system. The innovative design minimises the stress and wear on the materials. This means an optimisation of the total cost of ownership and a longer lifetime of the valve. The hermetically sealing diaphragm also provides a higher hygienic standard to the D-tec valve, leading to a higher product quality in sensitive, ultraclean applications in the food-related industries, as well as a longer shelf life often demanded in these markets.
The D-tec stem diaphragm valve has been jointly developed by GEA Tuchenhagen and GEA Aseptomag.
