New DN 50 3/2-way vacuum controlled drain valve

A. u. K. Müller now offers the DN 50 version of the 3/2-way vacuum controlled drain valve for tank systems with higher capacity.

The vacuum controlled drain valves, series 04.050.114 have a media separated control pressure chamber and operate in a vacuum range from 40 to 65 kPa. Since the valves are controlled by the vacuum so they are ideally suited for applications where water spray is a problem. The valves bodies are made from PPE and are suitable for high media temperatures up to 90 °C. Also, they exhibit good chemical resistance against alkaline cleaning solutions. For applications requiring a higher chemical resistance, valve bodies made from PVDF equipped with a FKM diaphragm are available as an option. As fluid connectors, the customer can choose between threaded or hose connections.

The vacuum controlled drain valves are ideal for fast and reliable emptying of tanks and reservoirs, as used, for example, in the dairy industry.
