ABB Instrumentation has introduced a series of new electromagnetic flowmeters under its evolving FlowMaster brand. The new FlowMaster magmeters have many sensor and transmitter (converter) innovations in common. Differences prevail primarily in the flowmeter bodies, piping connections, and certifications, depending on three categories of application: ProcessMaster magmeters for industrial processes as diverse as chemical, power, oil & gas, pulp & paper and metals & mining; WaterMaster magmeters for water and wastewater management; and HygienicMaster magmeters for the food, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. When integrated with a management solution such as ABB’s Asset Master, these instruments play a key role in optimizing customer operations and maintenance.
