New KTM Unibody valve

Tyco Flow Control has improved the pipeline integrity, performance and safety characteristics of its ball valve range with the launch of the brand new KTM Unibody EB700 series. The KTM Unibody is designed and certified to meet the exacting standards and service requirements of the petrochemical, chemical and oil & gas industries. The one-piece, cast body minimizes potential leak paths, making it safer and more environmentally friendly than split body designs.
The valve comes with the addition of dual body-insert seals and shaft seals. The EB700 series feature a PTFE/PFA co-polymer “E” seat similar to the OM2 (EB11/12) series. The valves in sizes above DN25 (NPS 1) also provide an additional safety feature incorporating cavity self-relieving seats to relieve potential ball cavity over-pressure when the valve is in the closed position.
The series is also designed in compliance to ISO 17292 (2004) and ASME B16.34 (2009), and every model is fire-safe tested and certified to API 607 6th Edition by Lloyds Register,” said Roseneder. The new KTM Unibody ball valves are available in dual certified carbon steel to ASTM A216 WCB/WCC and in stainless steel, certified to ASTM A351 CF8M. Standard trim material is 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance.
