Ancon Building Products has launched a new technical brochure providing detailed information on its stainless steel formed sections, flooring and special fabrications. Products featured in the new literature include cold-formed sections, special fabrications, bolt fasteners, open grid flooring and floorplate. Standard ranges of fabrications are manufactured by Ancon but in addition the design engineers are happy to discuss any individual proposals. The manufactures specialised fabrications and can fabricate all austenitic, duplex and super duplex stainless steel in plate thickness of up to 25mm and 2000kg in weight. Recently Ancon has fabricated decorative bridge cappings and their support brackets for a large civil engineering project. Previous projects have included the production of endplates for road deck slab, dock gate endplates and access ladders. The brochure highlights the use of Staigrid open-grid flooring as a cost-effective alternative to galvanised and aluminium floors, and also details the comprehensive range of full, cut and formed floorplates that are available direct from stock.
