New low temperature valve

Oliver Twinsafe Valves is launching a new low temperature valve – a unique valve that caters for extreme low temperatures – to meet customer needs in the oil and gas industry. The new valve has been specifically designed to cater for the liquefaction process, which is used when transferring oil and gas on-shore from off-shore facilities, to separate dust, helium, water and heavy carbons. This process can see substances reach temperatures as low as -163C, so end users need to be confident the system carrying the materials can withstand such conditions. Utilising a trunnion mounted, side entry ball valve design, the low temperature valve is available in sizes 1in up to 16in and offered in either a double block and bleed or single Isolate construction, both of which are manufactured to ASME B16.10 standards.
