New lubricant for oxygen-carrying valves

Klüber Lubrication has launched Klübertemp YV 93-92, a white lubricant with good wetting capacity for valves, fittings and installations carrying oxygen.

The new product shows a high stability to oxygen pressure surge and good resistance to gases and chemicals used in this industry. Klübertemp YV 93-92 offers high operational reliability of installations and components using gaseous or liquid oxygen. To ensure continuous adherence to the high quality standard, Klübertemp YV 93-92 is manufactured in small series subject to strict hygiene requirements; moreover, each batch is inspected by the BAM (German Institute for Materials Research and Testing, Berlin).

This versatile lubricant can be used for the industrial handling of oxygen, air, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons and inert gases, among other things. Klübertemp YV 93-92 lubricates valves, fittings and installations carrying gaseous or liquid oxygen under medium partial pressure. Due to its good compatibility with most materials used in this branch of industry, Klübertemp YV 93-92 is suitable for the maintenance and care of breathing apparatus such as in diving equipment. The product can be used over a wide operating temperature range, in particular for low temperatures.
