Macro Sensors (USA), a manufacturer of LVDT-based linear and rotary sensors, gauging probes, support electronics and related instrumentation, is now a vendor for the new LVDT position sensors used on Westinghouse steam turbines. The LVDTs are implemented for position measurement on governor valves, throttle valves, reheat/stop valves, interceptor valves, and many other control valves. Macro Sensors offers a variety of its Linear Variable Differential Transducers (LVDTs) linear position sensors in configurations from 2 to 20 inches long and with different outputs. The company also provides non-standard and custom-designed units for OEMS and system integrators.
