New material for sanitary valves

Jordan Valve has introduced the Gylon® diaphragm material on all MK95/MK96 pressure regulators for sanitary service. The MK95/MK96 is used on clean steam, WFI (Water for Injection), and other sanitary liquid services in biotech, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, cosmetics, specialty chemicals, and other industries with sanitary process requirements. The Gylon® diaphragms are ideal for clean service where vacuums are frequently used to check seal integrity, particularly freeze dryers and auto-claves. And other types of systems where vacuums can exist are also an ideal application for Gylon ® diaphragms. Chemical compatibility is the same as for Teflon ®. Gylon ® can withstand relatively high temperatures and is long lasting and durable. The MK95 is available in sizes 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/2”, 2”, and 3” with quick disconnect sanitary fittings. The MK96 is available in 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/2”, and 2” sizes with pressure set points ranging from 2 psi to 135 psi. The MK95/MK96 is designed and produced in accordance with 3A ® and FDA standards for sanitary services. The body and trim are produced in 316L Stainless Steel (ASTM A479).
