The Valves and Actuator Division of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is represented by the leading manufacturers of Industrials valves and actuators used in various sectors such as power, oil & gas, chemicals, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, water, steel, cement, etc. It is the only exclusive national representation of the valves and actuators and flow control equipment industry.CII organised an Annual General Meeting where Mr Arvind Goel, Managing Director, Auma India and Mr I S Malhotra, Managing Director, Tyco Valves and Controls India Ltd. were elected as Chairman and Vice Chairman of CII Valves and Actuators Division respectively.
This division reviews the status of the industry and its concerns, which is then articulated and represented with a consensus to the various nodal agencies including the government of India. This division also holds conferences, interactive sessions with various stakeholders including users segment and concerned Ministries. The division also leads business delegations to foreign countries.
The national division on valves and actuators is an ideal platform for the leading industry players and SME’s to look at emerging business opportunities, latest technologies and interact with key user industries apart from using this forum to address issues of concern to industry with government, related nodal agencies and PSU’S at the national level.
