The Nordheim instrumentation manufacturer AS-Schneider’s Dubai subsidiary has received two major orders totalling EUR 700,000, strengthening AS-Schneider’s presence as a manufacturer and supplier of valves in the Arab world.
AS Schneider specialises in the manufacture of industrial valves for measurement and control technology used in plant construction for the chemical, oil and gas industries. In order to meet the specific needs of this high-tech industry as closely as possible, AS-Schneider develops customised solutions together with its customers if requested. For one of the two orders, the company will supply its VariAS-Blocks as a custom-built model made from f6a material. This martensitic stainless steel has high mechanical strength after thermal treatment and is corrosion- and scale-resistant up to a temperature of 649° degrees Celsius. Thus, it is particularly suitable for use in steam and gas turbine blades as well as valve components.
