New orders for FCX Truflo Marine

FCX Truflo Marine has received an order from Denmark and one from Germany via its sister company FCX GHR. The company will provide high pressure reducing stations for diesel generator starting systems and gun cleaning on flexible support ships commissioned by the Danish navy. Its first order from Denmark comes alongside an order from Germany for the Neptune Project. Three existing U209 class submarines are being fitted with the Siemens Air Independent Propulsions (AIP) System by HDW in Kiel, Germany, for delivery to the Greek navy. The AIP system incorporates a fuel cell that combines hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, allowing the submarines to stay underwater for longer periods. The conversions will include ball valves and high pressure reducing stations from FCX Truflo Marine to control hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen.
