New PFA manifold

Eastern Plastics (EPI) is now manufacturing manifolds from perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) material. The result is a manifold that resists corrosion and heat in aggressive chemistry applications. The multi-layer design uses a proprietary bonding process, developed by EPI, that allows internal fluid paths and chambers without the use of solvents, adhesives, or gaskets. The integrated fluid paths minimize connections and solution volumes while also eliminating leak points. EPI is working with equipment manufacturers to create custom PFA manifolds for them. The manifolds can include surface mount valves, pumps, sensors, fittings, and other components. The PFA material is translucent, which allows viewing of the fluidic channel.
