Crane Process Flow Technologies, a Crane Co. company, has announced the launch of its new Opti-SET switchbox. Designed to provide users with an easy to install, reliable switchbox, the Opti-SET uses a simple setting mechanism to significantly reduce set-up and validation time. Both the weight of the switchbox and the envelope dimensions are substantially reduced owing to its Nylon 66 construction and compact design. Maintenance of the unit is very straightforward, incorporating a push and twist cover providing easy access to the switchbox, even when installed in difficult to reach locations. Suitable for Saunders EC and SSC actuators (DN8 to DN50 inclusive) for A and AFP type valves, the Opti-SET is available with a wide range of switch options including the ATEX approved Gold contact (M8) microswitch and 2 wire NAMUR (P2) proximity sensors.
