New Valve Alliance launched at VW 2004

The Valve World 2004 Conference & Expo provided just the right launching pad for a new alliance between Valve manufacturers across three continents and has been christened as Integrated Valve Technologies. The parties to this alliance are Advance Valves Global, India, Durcon Vice Valves, Brazil, and Gunric Valves, South Africa. Advance Valves is a manufacturer of dual plate check valves and butterfly valves for high-pressure ratings in both cryogenic and fire-safe types, made of a variety of exotic metals including titanium. Durcon Vice Valves, based in Sao Paolo, Brazil, manufactures, among other things, the recirculation control valve, gate, globe and swing check valves with bolted bonnet and pressure seal bonnet and pressure class up to 2500#, boiler level gauges, and globe stop valves. Gunric Valves is a manufacturer of high-performance triple eccentric butterfly valves for larger sizes. Based near Johannesburg, they enjoy an excellent relationship with SASOL, South Africa’s major oil refinery. Durcon is recognised in Petrobras and in the power generation, oil & gas and the pulp & paper industries. Advanced Valves’ client base consists of, among others, petrochemical and gas-based clients. By coming together, Integrated Valve Technologies (IVT) will pool all resources in marketing and products, engineering and production to meet the varying and new requirements of pipeline owners. All three partners of the alliance are using the latest internet and digital technologies to network both the IVT team and the clients.
