The GA ECO-Centric Plug Valve now features a new shaft packing design that is adjustable and replaceable without removing the actuator. GA Industries introduced the new design at WEFTEC in New Orleans, in September.
The round port ECO-Centric Plug Valve meets the demanding requirements of AWWA C517. It is uniquely designed to reduce power consumption and save energy costs. The rugged and corrosion resistant valve provides long-term tight seating. It comes with a round port for high capacity and low headloss. It supports bi-directional shutoff for easy installation. The body and cover of the valve is made of Ductile Iron and the body seat is made of 95% pure Nickel. It has a rubber-coated ductile iron stem. The bearings are of 310 Stainless Steel and the cover bolts are made of zinc-plated steel. The valves also have a high-strength epoxy coating to protect from corrosion.
