Litre Meter develops a new volumetric rig for calibrating ultra-low flow meters for chemical injection applications. The temperature-controlled volumetric low-flow calibration rig delivers automatic calibration of flow meters and instrumentation within a flow range of 0.0006 to 50l/hr with an accuracy of 0.2% and a repeatability of 0.05%.
With the new volumetric rig, the accuracy is much greater with very low uncertainty. The associated tanks, pumps, ultra-sonic sensors, pressure gauges and temperature probes are all housed in a compact and maneuverable temperature-controlled cabinet.
The new volumetric low-flow calibration rig can measure any fluid type within reason and features a reverse flow testing facility. For example, on a fluid with a viscosity of 10cSt the LF03 will measure down to 0.06l/hr at pressures of 1 bar right up to 4,000 bar.
