Weir Valves & Controls UK has enhanced the Blakeborough® cage guided control valve range with the release of the BV590i (Globe) and BV591i (Angle) series. The new designs of cage-guided valves represent a step-change in flow control technology; offering customers process critical control valves at competitive prices.
The new Blakeborough® valve bodies conform to industry standards such as ASME B16.34 and ISA 75.0. The Weir research and development team challenged conventional globe valve designs, exploring innovative new body geometries though extensive computational fluid dynamics and flow testing. As a result the valve bodies offer superior flow capacities within a lightweight design. This means Weir can reduce the offered valve size, while maintaining the valve capacity, ultimately resulting in a saving to end users across different applications.
