GAS awarded DSV contract for Shah Deniz 2

GAS, member of Lighthouse Group, has been awarded a long-term contract from SAIPEM to provide offshore survey services on board the dive-support vessel AKADEMIK TOFIK ISMAYILOV during the installation of the export and infield pipelines for the Stage II development of the Shah Deniz field, which will deliver gas to Europe from Azerbaijan. The contract’s scope of work includes Touch Down Monitoring during the pipelay, As-Laid, As-Built and Out-of-Straightness surveys over 360 km of pipelines.

Since 2012, GAS has built a solid presence in the area and is one of the main Contractors for Survey and Positioning services in the offshore sector of the Caspian Sea. In Baku, GAS has a 24-hours operative office, with expert staff and a full spread of survey equipment including latest technologies of LBL underwater acoustic equipment, ROVs and AUV.
