A new flat spring solenoid valve from Asco Joucomatic offers an operating life of 1 billion cycles when used with neutral gases. The solenoid valve is designed to meet the needs of the medical/analytical and industrial sectors. Key to the performance of the Series 065 valve is Asco Scientific’s flat spring technology; this combines both valve spring and core functions in a unique flat part manufactured from a special stainless steel. The result is a valve with only one moving part. Intended for the control of gases and liquids, and vacuum (0.1bar(a)) in the temperature range from 0 to 60C, the Series 065 valves are AISI 303 stainless-steel-bodied units with internals also of stainless steel, and seals and discs of high-performance FPM (fluoroelastomer/Viton).
The Series 065 is available in four orifice sizes – 0.6, 1, 1.4 and 2.0mm – providing KVs in the range from 0.22 to 0.95 litre/min.
