NORSOK-certified plastic stock shapes from Quadrant

Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products (EPP), a specialist in machinable plastics and stock shapes, will have its dedicated oil, gas and petrochemical team present at the 2015 Oil & Gas Polymer Engineering conference in Houston, Texas. Quadrant offers material solutions that solve the challenges presented in all stages of global HPHT programmes and is the world’s first developers of NORSOK M-710-certified Ketron® polyetheretherketone (PEEK) stock shapes – solving common specification errors and application failures caused by specifying pre-process resins.

Quadrant has developed dimensionally stable materials that deliver maximum resistance to extreme conditions and chemicals in downstream, midstream, and upstream applications, in addition to increasing meantime between rebuilds in turbomachinery, pump and valve applications. Quadrant’s featured material families include Duratron® PAI (polyamide-imide), the high performing, melt-processable plastic; Techtron® PPS (p-phenylene sulphide), with excellent chemical resistance and inertness to steam, strong bases, and acids; Fluorosint® PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), apt for hostile chemical environments offering dramatic efficiency gains, and Ketron® PEEK (polyetheretherketone), the world’s first stock shapes to achieve NORSOK M-710 (sour gas aging) certification.
