Wood Group Kenny has been awarded the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and related project management support activities for the BG Norge AS, Jordbaer field development. The proposed field development, located in the North Tampen region consists of a stand-alone FPSO with two drill centres in a water depth of approximately 410m. Gas will be exported from the FPSO to an established gas export pipeline system. The work includes delivery of an approved design package for in field and export pipelines, control systems, risers and umbilicals as well as budget and schedule estimates to support BG Group’s plan for field development and operation.
