ODS Metering systems at Ridderkerk has finalized 2 oil offloading metering skids for Floating Production Storage and Offloading Vessels (FPSO) located at territorial waters of Brazil and Angola. The typical valves for metering application are with high integrity sealing (dual expanding double block and bleed plug valves). The valves, sizes 16in and 8in, were supplied by the Dutch manufacturer Nether Seal. All valves have been mounted with electric motors for 440 VAC 60HZ 3PH power supply. Custom type relief system for cavity bleeds and leak detection with pressure gauges has been fitted onto the valves. Since the units are installed in an offshore environment, a rigid 3 layer special offshore quality coating system was applied after successful pressure testing and stamping for acceptance, by a Third Party Inspector.
