This new suite of innovations comprises the Stage Frac Tool for wellhead isolation, the Active Seat Gate Valve, the groundbreaking ActiveHub digital platform for remote wellsite monitoring and control, and an industry-first MPD-ready system for Jack-Ups. These advancements are designed to enhance the efficiency, performance, and safety of wellsite operations while facilitating the drilling of more intricate wells and completing additional stages.
The Stage Frac Tool, available in a 5 1/8” configuration, addresses a significant challenge in the Saudi Arabian market by streamlining the transition between frac and wireline operations. By eliminating the need to remove isolation equipment between stages, operators can save valuable time and reduce costs, potentially saving up to 24 hours over eight stages.
Meanwhile, the Active Seat Gate Valve features a patented sealing mechanism that sets it apart from traditional gate valves, minimizing valve grease contamination and reducing costly repairs, thereby extending valve life and optimizing operational efficiency.
Oil States has also unveiled the innovative ActiveHub digital platform, empowering operators with remote monitoring and control capabilities to enhance productivity and safety while minimizing personnel exposure to hazardous areas.
