OMB announced today the acquisition of Nencini.

OMB announced today the acquisition of Nencini, a leading global provider of innovative valves for the water sector. Established in 1967, Nencini is based in Colle Val d’Elsa in Tuscany and employs 20 with yearly revenues of approx. 10 mil. Euros.
Initially producing air valves for hydraulic power plant and discharge valves for potable and irrigation water pipelines, Nencini expanded its production to include large energy-dissipating valves for hydraulic power plants, and discharge valves for dams.
NENCINI’s manufacturing knowledge and expertise is reinforced by a deep understanding of cavitation and vibration phenomena.
With increasing global demands for special applications, Nencini plays an important role in the supply and service of customized hydraulic valves installed in many different water utility systems around the world.

OMB has supplied valves for desalination and water injection plants mainly in the Middle East market. With this acquisition the group aim to expand its offer in a rapidly expanding sector with great potential in areas where OMB has a strong ties.
