OMB Valves spa, in partnership with Mikuni (M) Sdn. Bhd, OMB distributor in Malaysia, has been awarded the forged steel valves order for Technip-Coflexip’s contract with BASF. Technip-Coflexip will build a new integrated production facility for polytetrahydrofuran (PolyTHF(r)) and tetrahydrofuran (THF) in the newly developed Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP) at Caojing, Shanghai, China. Technip-Coflexip’s scope of work covers engineering, procurement
services and construction management services. Engineering and procurement will be performed in Technip-Coflexip’s engineering centres in Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai. OMB scope of work cover gate, globe and check valves up to 2″ in various materials and ratings combinations and
related tests and inspection activities. OMB products will be supplied from OMB main plant in Bergamo, Italy while OMB plant in Singapore will act only for short lead time items
