Saint-Gobain performance plastics OmniSeal materials have now been qualified to Norsok M710. The OmniSeal spring energised PTFE seal is suitable for harsh environments in oil and gas exploration and production. OmniSeal seals are successfully used in safety-critical applications, in ball valves as double piston effect seals in valve seats and to reduce fugitive emissions as environmental valve stem seals. Other applications include valve body/bonnet seals, butterfly valve seats, down-hole tools, cryogenic swivel seals and other critical sub-sea equipment.
