Opus Water, an engineered products water company backed by XPV Water Partners, has acquired Yeary Controls, a Chicago-based provider of control valves, actuators, and flow control accessories. This acquisition strengthens Opus Water’s growing portfolio of engineered solutions for the water, wastewater, and industrial process fluid markets.
For more than 20 years, Yeary Controls has delivered durable, precision-engineered valve technologies capable of performing under demanding conditions. Its Sharktooth™ Control Valve offers superior cavitation and noise performance compared with traditional butterfly valves, while providing a cost-effective alternative to conventional control valves. Applications span water, wastewater, power generation, pulp & paper, steel, and mining, with customers benefiting from increased uptime and extended asset life—often outperforming alternatives by a factor of four or more.
The addition of Yeary Controls complements Opus Water’s existing solutions, enabling the company to provide a broader range of engineered products for complex fluid handling challenges. This move follows previous acquisitions and reinforces Opus Water’s commitment to delivering quality, innovative, and customer-focused flow control solutions across water applications.
