Parker introduces high-flow angle body valve

The Fluid Control Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation released its PA Series Angle Body Valves. These compact valves provide high flow rates for aggressive industrial and process applications. They can be used with gases, liquids, steam, slurry solutions, or corrosive media at temperatures between -10°C and 180°C. These valves are available in sizes ranging from 3/8″ to 2-1/2″ with operating pressures up to 232 psi. Parker offers the valve body in either 304 or 316 Stainless Steel while the actuator is available in 304 stainless steel or aluminium.

“The Stainless Steel options make the PA Series exceptionally durable for applications in steam supply, water treatment, mining, and particularly for the rigorous wash-down environment of the food and beverage market”, explains Gary Pierko, product manager for Parker’s Fluid Control Division.

The 2-Way PA Series Angle Body Valves function normally closed or normally open and also offer an optional dampened closing Anti-Water Hammer design. Mountable in any position, they provide tight shut-off and long service life. These Parker valves meet Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and conform to the terms of the 94/9/CE directive specific to non-electrical equipment for use within potentially explosive environments.
