The accuracy and convenience of PBM’s new Sampling Valve makes it ideal for sampling in the beverage industry. The Sampling Valve’s minimal moving parts and ease of operation eliminates potential difficulties associated with diaphragm valves. Product doesn’t become trapped, causing contamination and false readings with PBM’s Sampling Valve. Corrosion is minimized in caustic service and the potential for bacteria growth is eliminated. The outlet can also be adjusted and angled to accommodate sampling. PBM’s sampling valves are 316L stainless steel, fabricated from barstock with a 1-inch Tri-Clamp connection for connecting to the process line and a barb fittings for connection to ¼ inch ID hose on the sampling outlets. The valves have TFM seats and a Viton stem seals and steam resistant Viton ¾ inch Tri-Clamp body gaskets. They are operated by turning knurled UHMWPE knobs, which raise and lower the stems.
