PCC (Precision Castparts Corporation) has acquired Wouter Witzel Eurovalve in order to strengthen PCC’s position in the world-wide flow control market. By combining the strength of Wouter Witzel products and of PCC Flow Technologies’ sales and service organisation PCC hopes to leverage its global structure and increase penetration in key markets. Wouter Witzel Eurovalve, the Dutch based company, was established in the early 1960s as a manufacturer and supplier of butterfly valves. As one of the pioneer developers of rubber-lined butterfly valves in Europe the company has evolved into a leading specialist supplier with an international reputation in the field of butterfly valves for complex, automated industrial processes.
