Penta, part of the Italian group ALFA VALVOLE, moved to its new high-tech plant last month. This is a much larger facility where Penta has the chance to expand its production area and add new machines.
The new plant also boasts of one of their more important investments—a new furnace for the processing of its unique self-lubricating metal seat called PENTAFITE.
Starting from early 80’s, Penta has used PENTAFITE seats in a wide range of applications on liquids, gases or media with solid contents, on working temperatures between –100°C to 720°C, to produce high quality metal-seated ball valves.
This new furnace is expected to enable Penta research new ways to implement the range of application of the PENTAFITE metal.
