Since its inception in 1999, the Valve Doctor™ program has been instrumental in rapidly cultivating the next generation of technical experts, condensing years of learning into a rigorous curriculum spanning seven years or less. Today, it remains an integral part of IMI Critical Engineering’s consultancy service, boasting a global network of 83 Valve Doctors.

In 2023, seven candidates successfully completed the program, collectively bringing nearly 100 years of combined experience across diverse sectors. Notable achievers include Shelley Notarnicola, Munjong Choi, Sebastian Ansel, Vinita Meissner, Vojtech Pokorny, Uzair Ahmed, and Alexander Sommer, each attaining the prestigious title of certified Valve Doctor or Valve Doctor Specialist.

Central to the success of Valve Doctors are three core qualities: expertise in value selling, innovative design, and problem-solving. Candidates diligently work on enhancing these skills, ensuring they meet the program’s rigorous requirements.
