PJV wins FPSO contracts in Brazil, Mexico & Nigeria

PJ Valves (PJV), a supplier of valves to the energy industry, has won three significant floating production and offloading (FPSO) valve contracts for projects located in Brazil, Mexico, and Nigeria.

Under the Brazilian contract, PJV will manufacture and supply to a project in the Santos Basin, delivering a range of globe and check valves made from carbon stainless steel, duplex, and Inconel clad material.

The valves range in diameter up to a maximum of 18 inches, with pressure class up to API 15000 to support the topside processing requirements of the FPSO vessel. The company will additionally provide onsite support from its Singapore office for the installation of the valves in China.

In Nigeria, PJV has been contracted to supply a package of the ball, double block and bleed valves and check valve to support topsides on an FPSO project. Finally, PJV will deliver high-pressure check valves to support a project in Mexico.

The valves for all three FPSO projects will be manufactured in PJV’s factory in Italy and partner factories in the UK, with deliveries due for completion by the end of 2019.
