Plant automation in Greece

Technip has won a contract from Motor Oil Hellas for the instrumentation and automation revamping of their lube oil plant at Corinth Refinery, Greece. The lump-sum turnkey contract, worth about EUR 8 million, covers basic and detail engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up. These services will be performed by the Technip’s engineering centre in Rome. The works will be completed without any major plant shutdown. The pre-commissioning completion is scheduled for July 2002.
