Geeplus has produced a new range of poppet (solenoid) valves using only 1-3W operating power. Their power dissipation is such that they can be used in ambient temperatures up to 40C in free air without the need for a heatsink. Designed form the on/off control of air or other non-corrosive gases, the valves are offered in standard types with NO and NC configurations, with venting either to the environment, or through the valve to a second port.
The valve orifice diameter is in the range 1 to 2mm and maximum pressure rating is in the range 2 to 3bar. Typical applications would include office machinery, instrumentation or medical equipment.
