Oliver Valvetek, specialists in subsea valve technology, are seeing an increase in demand for remote mounted multi-turn valves and equipment with panel mounted ROV receptacles and position indicator systems. In response, a simple yet robust mechanism has been designed that is ideally suited to a range of different receptacles. This new concept is suitable for high operating torques, can work independent of water depth, is suitable for a range of ISO 13628-8 receptacles and offers electrical continuity. The design is such that if the indicator mechanism becomes damaged, the valve or piece of equipment can still be operated.
