PRECISION announces the appointment of Olivia Schmidt as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Effective immediately, Schmidt will operate from the US, reporting directly to the Group CEO.
With a notable 28-year career in international business, Olivia Schmidt is well-equipped to lead PRECISION’s sales and marketing divisions. Her extensive expertise spans various sectors, including Pharmaceuticals, Personal Care, Automotive, and Industrial. She has held significant positions at esteemed organizations such as BASF Corporation and Kymera International.
Group CEO Harald Biederbick expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Olivia’s commercial experience and leadership skills will enhance our ability to identify market trends and continue introducing innovative products. Her data-driven approach and cultural understanding will fortify our global sales efforts.” Olivia Schmidt shared her own perspective, stating, “I’m thrilled to join an organization that is driven by innovation. Schmidt succeeds Eric Derouin, who has elected to pursue other opportunities. “We are confident that Olivia’s leadership will build effectively upon the foundation established by Eric. We extend our gratitude to Eric for his contributions,” added Biederbick. A native of Argentina, Schmidt holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Caracas, Venezuela.
