Hawe Hydraulik SE has introduced the proportional spool valve, type PSL, complete with direct CAN-BUS interface. The new design is characterized by simplified wiring, thus supporting speedier and safer installation. The wiring is connected and ready-for-use by the straightforward insertion of the entire cable. The electrical connection complies with ingress protection rating IP 67, enabling a broad range of deployment also in rougher environmental conditions. The integrated signal relay ensures the automatic optimization of the valve’s reactive behaviour. This is particularly helpful for reducing the hysteresis, as this considerably simplifies the precision of repetitions and/or the integration into automatic sequences. The self-teaching functions of parameters also reduce the set-up work, for example, for the entry current. The proportional spool valve is deployed in mobile hydraulics to control the direction of movements and the load-independent and continuously adjustable control of movement velocities of hydro consumers. The CAN-BUS control facilitates easier actuation of complex systems with decentralized valve islets, sensors and actors. All pressurized components are made of steel. This enables flows of up to 120lpm and operating pressures of up to 420bar.
