Ceetak is launching a new range of PTFE diaphragms and bellows for the protection of systems and equipment. The new products have been produced for Ceetak by Parker Hannifin Seals Division for applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and offshore sectors, where high temperatures (up to 260C) or aggressive media are encountered. They also offer dimensional stability, are stress- and crack-resistant and do not become brittle with age, regardless of fluctuations in operating conditions; they can also be used in lubricated or dry running areas. This range of PTFE diaphragms can be used to control or separate the flow of aggressive media in valves and pumps, or as spacers in equipment such as heat exchangers, while the range of PTFE bellows can be used to provide flexible connections in pipework and to protect glass tubes or vessels, or as universal joints, slide units and special sealing mechanisms. These diaphragms and bellows can also be supplied with flanges reinforced with glass fibre.
