Power management company Eaton was recognised with the 2013 Quality Excellence Award from Hino Motors Canada, and Hino Motors Manufacturing USA, both part of the Toyota Group of Companies. Eaton earned this recognition thanks to its durable and affordable Synflex air brake tubing products, which are manufactured in North America and used for brake systems in Hino’s medium-duty trucks.
Hino, the rapidly growing medium-duty truck company in America, sources Eaton’s Synflex Type A Solstice tubing and Type B Eclipse tubing products, which boast zero defective parts per million (DPPM).
“Eaton’s in-line dimension monitoring equipment ensures products are sized per the customer’s specifications, and every length of tubing is tested to prevent leakage points. These standards helped Eaton achieve the quality performance benchmark of zero DPPM in 2013”, said Miguel Perez, fluid conveyance plant manager, Eaton. “Hino’s Quality Excellence Award further demonstrates Eaton’s commitment to providing quality products with innovative durability at a great value.”
