Premier Control Technologies (PCT) has been acquired by US-based Racine Federated Inc. after serving nearly 10 years as a European distributor for the company. This deal is intended to allow PCT to grow going forward and provide RFI with a foundation for European sales, service and support for its flow measurement products. The RFI Europe moniker and a new logo have been chosen to represent the new organization. PCT will remain as the UK sales and service distribution arm of RFI Europe. According to RFI, it will continue to unveil new product introductions through 2008 with a focus on delivering a more ATEX-compliant product platform to meet the demands of European distributors and customers. RFI Europe will also act as a liaison to ensure that the European market’s technical and certification requirements are communicated and adhered to. RFI Europe will operate from a new location on the grounds of Kilverstone, Thetford in Norfolk, UK, with a training suite and enhanced product repair and testing facilities.
