ROSS CONTROLS® announces the addition of a Safe Dual Pressure Application for the RSe Series valve. The Externally Monitored Control Reliable 5/2 RSe Series Double Valve, designed and used as a Safe Return valve, can now save pneumatic air when used in dual pressure applications. When controlling a cylinder, normally high pressure is only required in one direction. In most of the cases, the cylinder could be driven back in the home position with a 50% lower pressure. That means users can save at least 25% of pneumatic energy or more by using the RSe Safe Return valve for Dual Pressure applications. This is not only going to save money it also helps to protect the environment. The RSe valve used for Safe Dual Pressure applications can be part of a Cat 4 / PL e certified system when properly integrated and monitored.
