In October 2005, Mr Gordon Croucher, UK Sales Office Supervisor at valve actuation company Rotork, swapped collar and tie for a GB race suit when he represented Great Britain at the Age Group World Triathlon Championships in Hawaii, USA. Mr Croucher, 26, was one of a team of seven athletes from Rotork’s home town of Bath who qualified to race for the British team against athletes from all over the world, in hot and humid Honolulu over the Olympic distance course of a 1500m sea swim, a 40km bike ride and a 10km run.
