Rotork wins Flow Control Innovation Award

The new Rotork all-electric, non-intrusive CVA control-valve actuator has recently been named a winner of the “2009 Flow Control Innovation Award.” The award program is an annual competition sponsored by Flow Control magazine and recognizes the year’s advances in fluid-handling technology. This year, twelve products representing a wide-range of different fluid-handling technologies received the award. Winners were selected on the basis of reader votes and Flow Control staff input. The award will be presented to Rotork at the 2009 ChemShow held 17-19 November at the Javits Convention Center, New York City. Rotork CVA electric control-valve actuators are available in linear and quarter-turn actions, are easily integrated into most process control environments, and can be specified for single-phase AC or DC electrical supplies. CVA actuators include, as a standard feature, wireless Bluetooth communication technology. All Rotork CVA actuators incorporate a data logger, and utilize a built-in super-capacitor that provides an advanced, programmable method for fail-to-position protection.
