SAMSON, a manufacturer of industrial valves, introduced the new Type 251GR product line. This new valve generation sets benchmarks in efficiency, modularity, and sustainability, targeting key markets such as oil and gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, and power and energy.
The Type 251GR valve features the innovative Shared Modular System (SMS), allowing for custom engineering based on a modular platform. This system simplifies installation, service, and operation, making the valves adaptable to a wide range of applications.
Dr. Andreas Widl, CEO of SAMSON, highlighted the SMS benefits: “The Type 251GR Valve can cover a wide spectrum of applications, reduce components, complexity, and lead times. Valve trims are selected based on application needs and manufactured using advanced methods like 3D printing.”
Core components like the valve body and bonnet remain unchanged, while subordinate parts regulate applications, simplifying compliance with regulations. A uniform IT infrastructure supports international suppliers, enhancing process efficiency and reducing delivery times.
The Type 251GR Valve is versatile, with pressure ratings up to Class 900/PN 160 and temperatures from –50 to +600 °C. It handles liquids, gases, and vapors under challenging conditions. Key features include higher flow coefficients for better plant efficiency, a compact design, and optimized components for easy servicing.
SAMSON’s Type 251GR Valve represents a significant advancement in industrial valve technology, offering enhanced performance and adaptability for diverse process industry applications.
